My Approach
I believe a good therapeutic relationship is warm, nonjudgmental, supportive, and trusting. I use evidence-based approaches when I can to provide well-researched and effective treatments. I apply these approaches flexibly, depending on the needs of my clients and what seems to work best for them. I view therapy as a collaborative process, and I work together with clients to clarify goals of treatment and rely on them for feedback as we work together. I am trained in both cognitive-behavioral and insight-oriented treatments. My training in evidence-based treatments includes, but is not limited to:
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, and friends, as well as cooking, walking, reading, and travel.

- significant health or medical issues, such as insomnia, illness, or weight concerns
- concerns around gender, sexuality, and sexual orientation. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and use she/ her pronouns.
